No. 5, Sess. 1, 1932. —Petition of J. J. Meikle, of Auckland. Praying that certain reports of Select Committees be given effect to. 1 am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 16th November, 1932.

No. 50, Sess. 1, 1932. —Petition of William McAllan, of Dunedin. Praying for a compassionate allowance in respect of alleged physical disablement. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make. 16th November, 1932.

,No. 423, Sess. 1, 1932. —Petition of Ruby E. Watson, of Onetangi, Waiheki, and 52 others. Praying that, the proposed regulations of 1930 in regard to seine-net fishers be adopted. I am directed to report that, as amending regulations have now been issued which will give effect to the prayer of the petition, the Committee lias no recommendation to make. 16th November, 1932.

No. 68, Sess. 1, 1932. —Petition of F. E. Wright, of Lower Hutt. Praying for compensation for alleged loss owing to the construction of a ramp by the Public Wc-rks Department. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 16th November, 1932.
