Local Legislation Bill. Amendments proposed by His Excellency the Governor-General, and contained in Supplementary Order Paper No. 27. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the amendments to the above-mentioned Bill proposed by His Excellency the Governor-General and contained in Supplementary Order Paper No. 27, has the honour to report that it has carefully considered the said amendments and taken, evidence thereon, and recommends that they be allowed to proceed with amendment, as shown on the copy of the Supplementary Order Paper annexed hereto. 16th October, 1930.

Special Report. The Local Bills Committee desires to place on record its appreciation of the able, impartial, and courteous manner in which the Chairman, Mr. R. W. Hawke, has presided over the deliberations of the Committee during the session. J. McCombs, 16th October, 1930. A Member of the Committee.

Special Report. I am directed to report that the Local Bills Committee desires to record its appreciation of the efficient services rendered by the Clerk of the Committee, Mr., W. N. Wood. 16th October, 1930.

Final Report. The Local Bills Committee, consisting of ten members, has held during the session twenty-one meetings, with an average attendance of five members per meeting. There were referred to the Committee twenty-six local Bills and the Local Legislation Bill, all of which were considered and reported on. R. W. ETawke, Chairman. 16th October, 1930.
