Is it not for the purpose of eliminating useless competition ? —We have trade combines certainly, but they do not stop competition. They are not State-protected. But in this case there must be control over the roads in order to make it worth while for organizations to provide facilities ?—The London General Omnibus Co. have no protection. Hon. Mr. Veitcfi: The Bill will be of great benefit to your districts ; I can promise you that.
