This table shows that 35 per cent, of the certificated male teachers receive salaries over £400 per annum and 57 per cent, receive salaries over £350. Of the certificated women teachers 39 per cent, receive salaries in excess of £250.
Training of Teachers. The numbers of students in training in the four training colleges during 1926 were as follows, the figures for the previous year being also given for comparison : —
