Stamp Duties Amendment Bill. The Statutes Revision Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that the Bill has been carefully considered, and the Committee recommends that it be allowed to proceed, with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill attached. 25th September, 1925.
Special Report. I have the honour to report that the Statutes Revision Committee desires to place on record its appreciation of the ability and tact displayed by the Chairman, Mr. F. J. Rolleston, in the conduct of the business of the Committee during the session ; and further desires that this resolution shall be recorded on the minutes of the Committee and be reported to the House. 24th September, 1925. Final Report. I have the honour to report that the Statutes Revision Committee, consisting of eleven members, has held four meetings during the session. The average attendance of members at each meeting was five. Seven Bills—namely, the Undesirable Immigrants Exclusion Amendment, the Chattels Transfer Amendment, the Land Transfer Amendment, _the District Courts Abolition, the Life Insurance Amendment, the Death Duties Amendment, and the Stamp Duties Amendment —were considered by the Committee, evidence taken, and the Bills reported to the House. 25th September, 1925.
