Master and Apprentice Amendment Bill. The Labour Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that the said Bill has been carefully considered, and the Committee recommends that it be allowed to proceed, with amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill attached hereto. 3rd November, 1924.

Shops and Offices Amendment Bill. The Labour Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that the said Bill has been carefully considered, and the Committee recommends that it be not allowed to proceed this session. 3rd November, 1924.

Special Eeport. I have the honour to report that the Labour Bills Committee desires to place on record its appreciation of the capable and impartial manner in which the Chairman (Mr. J. S. Dickson) has presided over its deliberations during the session. W. A. Veitch, 3rd November, 1924. Member of the Committee.

Final Eeport. I have the honour to report that the Labour Bills Committee has held during the session sixteen meetings, with an average attendance of six members at each meeting. Ten petitions and eight Bills were referred to the Committee, all of which have been reported to the House. 3rd November, 1924.
