With reference to your despatch, No. 26, of the 6th February, 1 have the honour to inform Your Grace, that I have communicated direct to the GovernorGeneral of Canada, as suggested, the reply of my Government, which was to the effect that New Zealand had much pleasure in accepting the invitation to be represented at the forthcoming Empire .Forestry Conference to be held in Canada during July and. August, and that its representative would be Captain Macintosh Ellis, Director of Forestry in New Zealand. 1 have, &c, JELLICOE, Governor- G eneral. With reference to your despatch, Dominions No. 91, of the 15th March, 1 have the honour to inform Your Grace that while greatly appreciating the kind invitation of the French Government, my Government regrets that it is unable to send a representative to the Conference on Leprosy to be field in Strasburg on the 28th, 30th, and 31st July of the present year. With reference to your despatch, Dominions Treaty No. 14, of the Ilth April, relative to the contribution of the British Empire towards the expenses of the International Commission for Air Navigation, I have the honour to inform Your Grace that my Government agree to the suggestion that the Empire's share of these expenses should be apportioned on the same scale as that to be adopted in the case of contributions to the expenses of the League of Nations.
