R.EPOBTB. No. 66.—Petition of Joseph Ikgley, of New Plymouth. Praying that he he granted the New Zealand War Medal and all the privileges appertaining thereto. Wellbourn and wife, who are unable, through the war disabilities of the male petitioner, to earn sufficient for their support. .No. 89.—Petition of A. E. WeMhBOURN and Another, of Broad Bay, Dunedin. Petitioners state that through ill health contracted by the male petitioner whilst on active service during the war they are unable to earn sufficient for their maintenance, and pray for relief. I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion that this petition should be referred to the Government to favourably consider the granting of a compassionate allowance. 7th August, 1923.
No. 29. - Petition of James Ratteniutry, of Waitara. Praying that provision may be made whereby payment of pension granted in 1922 may be made retrospective to inception of Act of 1913, or a compassionate allowance be granted. I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion that this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 14th August, 1923.
