The privilege of receiving financial assistance for training overseas or in foreign countries will only be granted for special reasons and in a limited number of cases. 4. (a.) Candidates ordinarily domiciled in the United Kingdom should apply to the District Director, Appointments Department, Ministry of Labour, nearest to their own home. (The districts and addresses of their Directors are detailed in Appendix A.) (b.)
