The staff of officers is still very short, and it is hoped that this will be, remedied to some extent by the return of an officer who has been absent with the Expeditionary Forces and by the appointment of another. The appointment of several experienced officers is a matter which should receive early consideration. All officers are to be commended for their enthusiasm and industry displayed in carrying on the work during the last year of the war.
