I have the honour to inform you that I regret to report the death, at Dunedin, on the 17th February last, of the Honourable Sir George McLean, Knight Bachelor. The late Sir George McLean was for many years prominently associated with the public affairs of this Dominion, and had been a member of the Legislative Council since the year 1881.
