REPORT OF THE REGISTRAR OF THE HIOH COURT OF THE COOK ISLANDS. Sir,— Rarotonga, 31st March, 1918. I have the honour to report as follows in regard to the work of the hiiglt Court at Rarotonga. The Court dealt with 855 cases on the criminal side and with 76 civil cases during the year. Most of the former were for breaches of the liquor laws. The police, under Sergeant W. Blake, displayed a praiseworthy activity iti dealing with offenders. The fees and fines collected amounted to £578 12s. 6d., leaving £55 Is. lOd. outstanding. P. Mitchell, Registrar.
