BEPORTS. Mortgages Extension Amendment Bill, The Public Accounts Committee, to which was referred the Mortgages Extension Amendment Bill, has the honour to report that it lias carefully considered the same, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed with amendments as shown in the copy attached hereto. 24th August, 1915.

Public Revenues Amendment Bill (No. 2). The Public Accounts Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it has carefully considered the same, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed without amendment. 27th August, 1915.

New Zealand Loans Amendment Bill. The Public Accounts Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it has carefully considered the same, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed without amendment. 27th August, 1915.

Parliamentary Paper 8.--B.—Sinking Funds. The Public Accounts Committee, to which was referred paper 8.-8 (Reports and Accounts of the Commissioners of the Public Debts Sinking Funds for the Year ended 31st March, 1915), has the honour to report that it has considered same, and recommends that it do lie upon the table. 27th August, 1.915. Estimates of Expenditure of the Government of New Zealand for the Fear ending 31 st March, 1916. The Public Accounts Committee, to which was referred the estimates of expenditure for the year ending the 31st March, 1916, has the honour to report that it has carefully considered the same, and recommends that the estimates be allowed to proceed without amendment. The Committee also recommends that, in view of the large war expenditure, it is of opinion that economy in every branch of the Public Service is absolutely necessary. 31st August, 1915.
