Work done during year : General maintenance and planting of willows for river-bank protection. It is during the ensuing year proposed to continue the river-bank protection, and also to plant young trees. Area, 62 acres 2 roods 22 perches. Work, done during year : Fences erected and old fence repaired, trees planted in Swingbridge Reserve, and other trees trimmed and cleaned. Improvements now on domain : Fencing, draining, plantation, running-track, paths, and seats. Used for sports, picnics, and shows. A portion of the domain is leased. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Planting to be continued, and further efforts made to raise sufficient funds to erect a pavilion. Feathers ton Domain. Proposed operations for ensuing year : General maintenance and improvement, Leased. Feilding Domain. Lot 7 and part of Lot Bof Section No. 149, Town of Sandon. Area, 9 acres 2 roods. Work done during year : Laying out flower-beds, planting, completion of fish-pond, and tarring footpaths. Improvements now on domain : Gardens, tarred footpaths, fencing, seats, and fish-pond. Used for picnics, cricket, football, hockey, and general recreation. The borough gardener gives attention to the reserve. Gonville Domain. Parts of Lots 6 and 7, Block 11, and part of Lot 8, right bank of Wanganui River. Work done during year' : Planting trees, clearing gorse, and fencing. Leased. Gorge Domain. Sections Nos. 26 and 27, Block T, Mangahao Survey District, Area, 100 acres 3 roods. Work done during year : Fenced domain and felled bush on an area of about 4 acres, which it is proposed to use as a sports-ground. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Extending tracks, clearing weeds, and erecting a rustic shelter-shed.
