REPOBT. The Joint Friendly Societies Committee, which was set up to consider the report of the Registrar of Friendly Societies and to inquire into the position of friendly societies and their relations to the State in the matter of social insurance, has the honour to report that it has carefully considered the same, and taken evidence, and recommends that the evidence be laid on the Table and be printed, and that the Government be requested to cause copies thereof to be forwarded to the various friendly societies for their consideration during the recess.
