EEPOETS. No. 221 (1911).—Petition of Piripi Maki, of Te Aute. Praying for legislation to enable petitioner to appeal against succession orders re the interest of Ihaka Kapo (deceased), in Te Ipuotaraia No. 1 and Whakakoro Blocks. I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration in so far as the Whakakoro Block is concerned. 9th August, 1912.

I am directed to report that, as the petitioners have not exhausted their legal remedy, the Committee has no recommendation to make. 9th August, 1912.
