Session 11. 1912 NEW ZEALAND

HORSES, SHEEP, AND CATTLE (PARTICULARS RELATING TO) IMPORTED BY GOVERNMENT DURING TWELVE YEARS ENDED 31st MARCH, 1912.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 27th September, 1912. Ordered, " That there be laid before thin House a return showing—(l.) (a) The total number of oattle imported into this Dominion by the Agricultural Department during the twelve years ended 31st March, 1912 ; (6) the number of eaoh breed and sax ; (c) the average cost per head of each breed ; (d) the number of such oattle sold by the Agricultural Department, and the amount received therefor; and (c) the number still alive, and the approximate present value thereof. (2.) The number of horses similarly imported, and the same details as in the case of oattle. (3.) The number of sheep so imported, and the same details as in the case of oattle and horses."—(Mr. Hine.)
