Enclosure. Sir,— Berne, 4th May, 1911. I have the honour to inform you that, having transmitted to the Swiss Government the copies of the New Zealand laws enclosed in your despatch, No. 15, of the sth ultimo respecting night-work of women in industrial employment, I have now received a communication from President Euchet stating that the copies in question have been duly distributed to the different Powers signatories of the International Convention on Prohibition of Night-work for Women. I have the honour to state that the clubs noted in the margin [the Army ariC i Navy, the Naval and Military, the United Service, the Junior Army and Navy, the Junior Naval and Military, the Junior United Service, the Cavalry, the Royal Automobile, Ranelagh, Hurlingham, Richmond], at the instance of the Army Council, have generously agreed to. accord to the officers of the various military contingents attending the celebrations connected with the Coronation of Their Majesties the privilege of temporary and honorary membership during their stay in London. 2. With reference to my despatch, No. 177, of the 12th of May, I have the honour to request that you will inform your Ministers that the King's exequatur empowering Senor Don Mario Pimes, of Bayona, to act as Consul for Spain at Melbourne for Australia and New Zealand received His Majesty's signature on the 10th May.
