WANGANUI RIVER TRUST: EXPENDITURE BY, ON IMPROVEMENT OF CHANNEL, AND RECEIPTS BY, FROM GOVERNMENT, FOR STEAMER SERVICE AND CARRIAGE OF MAILS.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 12th September, 1913. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing separately for eaoh year from the 31st March, 1890 —(1) The total amount of money spent by the Wanganui River Trust in improving the channel of the Wanganui River and its tributaries; (2) the amount, if any, paid by the Government to the owners of any steamboat service on the Wanganui River and its tributaries; and (3) the amount paid by the Government for the oarriage of mails on the Wanganui River and its tributaries."—(Mr. Veitch.)
