Return to an Order of the Bouse of Representatives dated the 2nd August, 1912. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing the total number of persons who pay incometax, and the total amount of income they pay on; also the respective numbers and amounts of income of those persons who pay on income between £300 and £500, £300 and £1,000, £1,000 and £10,000, £10,000 and £50,000, and over £50,000." —(Mr. Laurenson.)
