It has been stated that " new " forms of entry have been " approved in which pro- " vision is made for the " information being sup- " plied." It has been stated that the " recommendations will be " carried out as far as " possible." British Guiana. The Trade Returns have hitherto been compiled for . years ending 31st March, but it is stated that arrangements have been made for them to be rendered for calendar years. New forms have been issued requiring the " countries of origin " of imports and of " final destination " of exports to be shown, with effect from 1st October, 1908. The imports aro classified alphabetically in three groups :— 1. Goods imported at specific rates. 2. Goods imported at ad valorem rates. '6. Free goods. The exports are classified alphabetically.
