Pukapuka Domain. Section No. 82a, Parish of Mahurangi. Area, 27 acres. Nil report furnished. Pukekaroro Domain. Section No. S. 79, Kaiwaka Parish. Area, 73 acres and 32 perches. This domain is under the control of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Auckland. It is mostly covered with scrub, with patches of native bush. Puniu Domain (Part of). Part of Section No. 223, Parish of Puniu. Area, 7 acres and 32 perches. This portion of Puniu Domain is under the control of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Auckland. It has been cleared, fenced, ploughed, and grassed. It is proposed to lease the area. Puniu Domain (Part of). Section No. 54a, and Allotments Nos. 6, and parts of 5, 7, and 8 of Section No. 236, Mangapiko Parish. Area, 15 acres and 20 perches. Work done during year : Formation of bowling-greens, tennis and croquet lawns, and athletic track commenced and almost completed, and existing improvements maintained. Improvements now on domain : Fencing, plantations, pavilion, 6i'x seats, two bowling-greens, and tennis and croquet lawns. Used for general recreation. Eight acres leased. Proposed operations for ensuing, year : Completing the works in progress, replacing dead trees, trimming hedges, painting gates, and general maintenance. This domain has been under the control of the Commissioner of Crown Lands. Auckland. Since the close of the year a Domain Board was appointed to control the area. Rangaroa Domain. Section No. 9, Block V. Rangaroa Village. Area, 9 acres 2 roods 20 perches. No improvements effected. Rangiriri Domain. Section No. la, Suburbs of Rangiriri. Area, 2 acres 2 roods. This domain is under the contiol of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Auckland. There is a spring on the area, and it is much used by settlers. Work done during year : Weeds cleared. Improvements now on domain : Grassing. Used for grazing. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Clearing weeds. Ranoitoto Island Domain. Area, 5,698 acres 2 roods of Rangitoto Island, situated in Rangitoto Survey District. Concrete tanks cleaned out, path renewed, overgrowth cleared away, and area used for recreation enlarged. Improvements now on domain : Two shelter-sheds, three concrete tanks, wharf, seats, fireplaces, and a well-defined and graded path to the summit of the mountain. Used as a pleasure resort. The island is largely patronized during the summer months, and the Devonport Ferry Company's steamers run frequently. The Domain Board receive the sum of Id. on each ticket sold. The Board's funds arc occasionally supplemented by the sale of blue metal, <fee. Rawene Do.main. Allotments Nos. 153 to 166, Town of Rawene. Area, 3 acres and 29 perches. Improvements now on domain : Clearing and stumping. Used for grazing. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Fencing. TaKAHUK DO4MAIN. Section No. 6a, Block XV, Takahue Survey District. Area, 4 acres 1 rood 27 perches. This domain is under the control of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Auckland. It is in its natural state. It is proposed to lease the area. Taneatua Domain. Section No. 11, Block IX, Whakatane Survey District. Area, 10 acres. Work done during year: Conveniences erected. The tennis and bowling clubs have made extensive improvement in the way of tennis-courts, bowling-greens, and pavilion. Improvements now on domain: Fencing, gates, grassing, hedge, tennis-courts, bowing-greens, and pavilion. The high river-bank has been sloped down and waterholes filled in.
