Used for football, polo, sports, races, and picnics. Kirikiriroa Domain. Sections Nos. 173 and 174, Suburbs of Newcastle North. Area, 10 acres. Work done during year : Five acres cleared, levelled, ploughed, disked, and harrowed The work was done by voluntary labour. Koheroa Domain. Section No. 8, Suburbs of Mercer. Area, 4 acres 2 roods 20 perches. This domain is under the control of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Auckland. It is proposed to endeavour to lease the area. Kohukohu Domain. Part of the Foreshore of Hokianga River, situated in Block X, Mangamuka Survey District, and Sections Nos. 2 and 3, Town of Kohukohu (Government). Area, 11 acres 3 roods 18 perches. Section No. 142, Kopuru Parish. Area, 6 acres and 25 perches. Work done during year : New roof put on cottage, and gorse grubbed. Improvements now on domain : Fencing, grassing, cottage, and shop. Improvements now on domain : Tennis-courts, band-rotunda, and pavilion, shower-baths, copper, shed, windmill, tanks and water-service, ornamental and shelter trees, fences, hedges, and swings. Used for hockey, tennis, cricket, football, and picnics; portion used for grazing. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Grassing about 17 acres, concreting in and around the pavilion, planting trees, erecting fencing, and generally improving the grounds. Lichfield Domain. Work done during year : Scrubbing, draining, and top-dressing. Improvements now on domain : Fencing and small building. Used for sports, football, hockey, cricket, and picnics. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Levelling and resowing a portion of the domain in grass, and repairing fences. A flood caused considerable damage to the domain during the year.
