Campbell and 476 Others, of Greymouth. Petitioners pray for the acquisition of the freehold of Native reserves at Greymouth by the lessees, sublessees, tenants, and residents of such Native reserves at a fair valuation. I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government with a recommendation that the Government purchase the reserve if the Native owners are willing to sell.
