Confirming my telegram of 28th instant, I have the honour to inform you that the British, the Indian, the Commonwealth, and New Zealand Dominion Governments having agreed to make a pro rata reduction in their terminal charges for Press messages between Great Britain and Australasia, the Eastern Extension and the associated companies have decided to reduce the Press rate to ninepence per word from the Ist proximo.
