Foe the Infoemation op Honoueable Membees :— The following cable advice has been received from London this morning:— The wool-sales have opened with strong competition and large attendance of buyers. There is active demand by all branches of the trade. Prices are Jd. to -J-d. per pound higher. Crossbreds, 365. to 405., average condition, 6fd. to 7d. ; crossbreds, medium, 445. to 465., average condition, 7Jd. to 7-fd. ; crossbreds, fine, 505., average condition, 2d. to 9-fd. The market is strong for super merinos. J. G. Waed. Approximate Coat of Paper. — not given; printing (1,400 copies), 18s. 6d.
