No. 3. [News extract, 26th May, 1908.] Tasmanian Cables. (Telegram.) , Melbourne, 25th May, 1908. The Postmaster-General has decided to accept the tender of Siemens Brothers for the construction and laying of two new cables to Tasmania for £49,000. [Hist., Vol. ii, p. 96.]
