MONEYS RAISED UNDER AID TO PUBLIC WORKS AND LAND SETTLEMENT AND OTHER ACTS DURING THE YEAR ENDING 31st MARCH, 1906.
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 29th August, 1906. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing the amount of moneys raised during the year ending the 31st March, 1906, under ' The Aid to Public Works and Land Settlement Act, 1905,' the Hutt Railway and Road Improvement Acts, ' The Railways Improvements Authorisation Act, 1904,' ' The Consolidated Stock Act, 1884,' the Land for Settlements Act, 'The Maori Land Settlement Act, 1905,' 'The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1901,' and ' Ttie Government Advanoes to Settltrs Act, 1894'; the return to show where the moneys were raised, and, if from Departments in New Zealand, the name of the Department, the terms of each loan, and the costs and expenses."—(Mr. J.
