At a special meeting of the Assets Realisation Board held this day the following resolution was placed on its minutes : " The Board desires to place on record its sense of the great loss it has sustained by the death of the Right Hon. R. J. Seddon, and to express its sincere sympathy with Mrs. Seddon and her family in the sad bereavement which has befallen them." We have, &c, Geo. Todd, Chairman. W. Fraser, Member of Board. I have the honour to enclose a copy of a resolution passed to-day at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank of New Zealand, and to ask you to be so good as to cause the enclosure to be forwarded to the widow and family of the late Prime Minister. I have, &c, F. de C. Malet, Chairman of Board of Directors. The Hon. W. Hall-Jones, Wellington. (Death of the Right Hon. R. J. Seddon.) It was resolved, " That the Board of Directors of the Bank of Neyv Zealand desires to place on record its deep sense of the very great loss sustained by the colony through the death of the Right Hon. R. J. Seddon, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, and to record its high appreciation of the eminent services rendered by him to the colony. The Board desires further to convey to Mrs. Seddon and her family its profound sympathy with them in their great sorrow,"
