I have the honour to inform you that the following resolution was passed at the meeting of the Palmerston Borough Council on Tuesday evening: " That this meeting do now adjourn as a tribute of respect to the memory of our late Premier, Richard John Seddon; also convey to Mrs. Seddon and family its deepest sympathy with them in their irreparable loss."
