Pukerau Domain, Southland Land District. Sections Nos. 8, 9, 10, and 11, Block V., Town of Pukerau. Area, 4 aci'es. Work done during year: The domain was ploughed and thoroughly worked, and a crop of turnips sown. It is expected that grass will be sown when the crop is removed, and a good sole is anticipated. Improvements now on domain : Fences and plantations. Used for cricket, football, and picnics. Puketititu Domain, Hawke's Bat Land District. Section No. 30, Block XIV., Pohui Survey District. Area, 11 acres 3 roods 16 perches. Leased on improvement conditions. Work done during year: Erection of 25 chains fences. Improvements now on domain: Boundary-fences. The area is at present in crop, and will be sown down in grass during the coming year. Punbhu Domain, Taranaki Land District. Sections Nos. 1, 2, 5, 6, and 41, Village of Punehu. Area, 7 acres. This domain is under the control of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, New Plymouth. It was cleared of bush about twelve years ago. A portion of it is swamp. It is not used by the public. PuNGAREHU DOMAIN, TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT. Section No. 111, Block XII., Cape Survey District. Area, 10 acres. Improvements now on domain: Boundary-fences. Used for cricket, sports, and picnics. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Tree-planting. Puniu Domain, Auckland Land District. Section No. 54a and Allotments Nos. 6 and parts of 7 and 8 of Section No. 236, Mangapiko Parish, and part of Section No. 223, Puniu Parish. Area, 22 acres and 12 perches. Eight acres leased on improvement conditions. Work done during year: Eradication of noxious weeds, and general maintenance. Improvements now on domain: Fences, plantations, and pavilion. Purangi Domain, Taranaki Land District. Section No. 2, Block [1., Ngatimaru Survey District. Area, 10 acres. Work done during year : Improvement to entrance. Improvements now on domain : Clearing and grassing. Used for picnics. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Further improvement to entrance and formation of running-track. Queen's Park Domain (Wanganui), Wellington Land District. Portions of Reserves E and K, Town of Wanganui. Area, 15 acres 3 roods 22 perches. Work done during year: Formation of drive, thinning plantations, levelling, grassing, and general maintenance. Improvements now on domain : Band-rotunda, museum, fences, and plantations. Used as a public park. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Removal of unnecessary trees, further formation of drive, construction of new paths, and general maintenance. Raetihi Domain, Wellington Land District. Sections Nos. 211 and 290, Town of Raetihi. Area, 14 acres 1 rood 18 perches. Work done during year: Fifty chains fences erected. Improvements now on domain: Fences, and 3 acres cleared and stumped. Used for sports and picnics. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Tree-planting, clearing, and stumping. Rangataua Domain, Wellington Land District. Section No. 24c, Block VIII., Makotuku Survey District. Area, 96 acres 1 rood. Not used by the public. Leased for grazing. Rangiora Domain, Canterbury Land District. Reserves Nos. 132 and 1563, Rangiora Survey District. Area, 95 acres Work done during year: Erection of fences, and maintenance. Improvements now on domain: Boundary-fences, plantations, grandstand, cycle-track, and conveniences. Used for sports, cricket, croquet, football, hockey, picnics, and races. Rangitoto Island Domain, Auckland Land District. Area, 5,69S acres 2 roods of Rangitoto Island, situate in Rangitoto Survey District. Work done during year : Stone shelter-shed and 800-gallon tank erected, and path formed to summit of mountain. Improvements now on domain: Wharf, concrete tank, shelter-shed and tank, seats, fireplaces, and well-graded path. Used for picnics, also visited by tourists. The Devonport Ferry Company runs steamers to the domain twice a week and on all holidays during the summer months, and pays the Domain Board Id. on each ticket sold. Rangiwahia- Domain, Wellington Land District. Section No. 61, Town of Rangiwahia. Area, 10 acres. Work done during year: Tree-planting and hedge-trimming. Improvements now on domain: Sheds, plantations, and hedges. Used for sports, cricket, football, and picnics.
