I am directed to report that, as the Native Land Court gave its award on the strength of statements made by the petitioner (Paora Kawharu), and as the said award has been upheld by the Native Appellate Court, the Committee cannot see any reason to accede to the prayer of the petition; it therefore has no recommendation to make. 22nd July, 1904.
