REPORTS.

No. 150, 1901.—Petition of John Hughey, of Feilding. Petitionek alleges that he has been wrongfully deprived of certain land near the Oroua River, and prays for investigation and restitution. I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition, together with one presented this session, be referred to the Public Petitions A to L Committee. 24th July, 1903.

No. 61, 1902.—Petition of Penetito Hawea and 3 Others. Petitioners pray for rehearing in connection with Omataroa No. 60 Block, near Whakatane. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition.

No. 41, 1902.—Petition of Te Wehi Kahawai and 3 Others. Petitioners pray for rehearing in connection with succession to the late Arihia Kahawai, a deceased owner in the Otairoa No. 4 Block. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition. 24th July, 1903.

No. 38, 1902.—Petition of Te Manu Taupua. Petitioner prays that a rehearing may be granted in connection with the succession to the late Mata Ria, an owner in the Onuku Block, Canterbury. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition. 24th July, 1903. —

No. 1201, 1901.—Petition of Rewi Maaka. Petitioner prays for redress of certain alleged grievances in connection with the purchase of the Karioi Block. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition.
