Although a blunder, and only excusable on account of the difficulties mentioned in our general observations, there appears to be no ground for charging the Eegistrar with corruptly attempting to influence the result of the election by the act charged. Charge No. 3 (Gbey Lynn) : Omitting to enrol a Large Number of Persons on the Grey Lynn Eoll who put in their Application for Enrolment and against whom there was no Valid Objection. This charge appears to be one upon which most stress is laid by the complainants, and every name on the list supplied was examined in detail.
