Petitioners allege that they did not sell or receive any payment for Te Ahu-o-Turanga Block, Woodville district, and pray for a grant of land in lieu thereof. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition. 30th July, 1901.

Petitioners object to the present holders of the title to the Tautane Eeserve, Hawke's Bay District, and pray for inquiry and admission to ownership. Petitioners pray that the interests of the owners of the reserves in the Euakituri and Taramarama Blocks may be allocated, or that the lands may be brought under the operation of the Native Land Court Act. 1 am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration. 6th August, 1901.
