year, all, I believe, doing fairly well. A small break occurred in the Wedderburn on che 19th February. With this exception, and the damage done by the thunderstorm, the race during the year has been kept in fair working order by the maintenance men. In re timbering the long tunnel between the Bast Eweburn and Butcher's Gully in 1893 twenty-three sets, which I then deemed would safely do for a few years longer, will have to be replaced this winter when the water is turned off, and can be done by the maintenance men. Blaokstonb Hill Each. The total sales of water from this race amounted to £129 10s., and the total cash received £129 10s. The total cost of maintenance and repairs was £2 14s. With the exception of repairing a small break last October in the Hill's Creek branch of this race, no other work has been done to it during the year. The average number of miners supplied with water from this race during the year was 9, and the approximate quantity of gold obtained was 140 oz., valued at £539.
