Considerable improvements have been effected since my last visit. One of the wards has been cleaned, painted, and papered. The whole outside of the building as well as the roof ought to be painted at once, for it is not creditable to allow a public building to perish through neglect. The patients consisted of eight chronic cases. All spoke in the highest terms of the care and kindness they experienced at the hand of Dr. Bossetti and Mr. and Mrs. Meeson. * _ >

This is a comfortable cottage-hospital, which is well looked after in every respect. There were three patients on the date of my visit, one of them a very remarkable case of recovery from a dangerous gunshot wound right into the body of the sacrum. A four-roomed cottage makes a suitable fever ward.
