Ordered, " That Standing Order No. 211 be suspended, and that a Committee, consisting of sixteen members, be appointed to examine into and report upon questions relating to the railways, with power to call for persons and papers; five to be a quorum. The Committee to consist of Mr. Crowther, Mr. Duncan, Mr. Earnshaw, Mr. Flatman, Hon. Mr. Larnach, Mr. Lawry, Mr. Mackintosh, Mr. Massey, Hon. Mr. Mitchelson, Mr. Morrison, Mr. G. W. Russell, Hon. Mr. Seddon, Mr. Tanner, Mr. Wilson, and the mover."—(Hon. Mr. Cadman). Tuesday, the 16th Day of July, 1895. Ordered, " That the petition of John Milne and others be referred to the Railways Committee."—(Mr. Meredith).. Tuesday, the 23kd Day of July, 1895.
