PORT CHARGES: RETURN OF AMOUNT OF PORT CHARGES LEVIED AT VARIOUS PORTS IN THE COLONY.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 28th June, 1893. Ordered, " That a return be laid before this House specifying in detail the port charges levied at the different ports in the colony."—(Mr. Houston.)

Return specifying in Detail the Port Charges levied at the Different Ports in the Colony. [These charges are levied under the authority of subsection (4) of section 215 of "The Harbours Act, 1878," and cannot, according to section 23 of "The Harbours Act 1878 Amendment Act, 1886," exceed 1s. 3d. per ton half-yearly.]
