RAILWAY WORKSHOPS. (LOCOMOTIVES, &c., UNDERGOING AND AWAITING REPAIRS.)
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 4th October, 1892. Ordered, " That a Return by the Commissioners of Railways be laid before this House, showing the number of locomotives undergoing and awaiting repairs in the several workshops of the colony, and the number of those that have been reported to the department as requiring general repairs; the number of trucks and carriages, &c, undergoing and awaiting repairs ; and the number of new trucks and carriages that will be required to meet the coming ■season's trade and requirements."—(Mr. Eaenshaw.)
