PENSIONS AND RETIRING ALLOWANCES.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 28th July, 1892. Ordered, "That a Return be laid before this House showing for each financial year, from the 31st March, 1883, to 31st March, 1892, the amount granted as pensions and the amount of the allowances paid to officers and men on their retirement from the Public Service ; also, the amount paid by way of bonus to officers or men, or as compassionate allowance to their relatives."—(Hon.
