■;,--• ■. -■" Mr.'Austin's Declabation "of Claim. In the Supreme Court of Bankruptcy holden at Christchurch. In the matter of " The Bankruptcy Act, 1883," and of the bankruptcy of George Waldock Ell, of Christchurch, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, New Zealand, butcher, a bankrupt. I, Henry Selwood Austin, of Christchurch, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, in New Zealand, solicitor, do hereby solemnly and sincerely declare, — 1. That the said George Waldock Ell was, at the date of his bankruptcy, and still is, justly and truly indebted to me in the sum of £361 os. 9d. for costs, and for work and labour done and payments made, and that the statement hereto annexed, marked A, contains a true and complete statement of accounts between me and the said George Waldock Ell. 2. That I have not received, nor hath any person by my order or to my knowledge or belief for my use or on my account received, or been promised any satisfaction, payment, or security whatsoever for the said sum or any part thereof. 3. That the only securities held in respect of the said debt are the following : I claim to have a lien on any moneys recovered in the action No. 30 in the Supreme Court at Christchurch—Ell v. Harper and another —to the extent of the costs due to me in that action, at present estimated at £293 os. Id., leaving a balance now due unsecured of £68 os. Bd. And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled " The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882." H. I, Edwabd Circuit Latter, of Christchurch, Official Assignee in Bankruptcy, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the within statement of account and balance-sheet is a true and correct statement of all moneys received by me, and of all moneys paid by me, in respect of the abovementioned George Waldock Ell. And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882."
