Eecitation : Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, and Goldsmith's Traveller. Shorthand : Phonetic Teacher. Lowest. —Latin : Elementa Latina. Arithmetic : Fractions. History : Boyal, Brief. Geography : Longmans' Shilling. Grammar : Trotter ; verbs and parsing. Composition : Cornwell's Young Composer. Beading : Longmans' Fourth Beader. Eecitation. Drawing: Optional. Special class on Saturday mornings; crayon, mechanical, freehand, model, geometrical. Writing and map-drawing in all classes. Sewing for the girls. Drill, both. There is a night school attached. Fees, £4 4s. per annum. Twenty on roll. Class held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Owing to newness of the school, nearly all are quite beginners in high-school subjects.
