8. The persons who attended term lectures in 1891 were 156 —viz., ninety-two male and sixtyfour female. Of these, the graduates were four—viz., three male and one female; undergraduates, fifty-one—viz., thirty male and twenty-one female; and non-matriculated students, 101—viz., fiftynine male and forty-two female. The attendants at term lectures in the previous year were 147— viz., sixty-three male and eighty-four female. Of these, the graduates were four—viz., three male and one female ; undergraduates, forty-six—-viz., twenty-nine male and seventeen female; and nonmatriculated students, ninety-seven—viz., thirty-one male and sixty-six female. 9. Occasional lectures of a more popular character on scientific subjects have been delivered, and have been numerously attended. 10. There is a sum of £3 11s. lid. in Mr. Upton's account charged as commission, but Mr. Upton was at the time in the position of a trustee of the funds of the institution, and therefore debarred from making any profit out of such funds.
