Introduction of return tickets daily on all lines, and fares amended for distances over 7 miles. Newsboys' season tickets : Regulation amended. Teachers' Saturday tickets : Regulation extended. Eeligious bodies and friendly societies : Regulation extended. Newspaper reporters' season tickets: Maximum charge fixed for either Island. LOCAL FAKES AND ItEGULATIONS. Auckland Section. Suburban fares revised. Napier and Wellington Sections. Through-booking arrangement extended to Dannevirke. Picton Section. Local fares abolished, and extension of return tickets between Picton and Blenheim. Greymouth Section. Kaiata-Brunner fares amended. Hurunui-Bluff Section. Local fares on Duntroon-Hakateramea District Line cancelled. Adoption of local fares between Invercargill and Bluff. PART lI.—LUGGAGE, PARCELS, HORSES, ETC. Newspapers : New rates for 31b. parcels. New regulation about bicycles when conveyed as passengers' luggage. Mules : New rates. PART lII.—GOODS. CLASSIFIED RATES. Class L, Firewood, &c.: Rates altered. Class Q, Road Materials, Brown Coals, &c.: Rates reduced for native brown coal, lignite, peat, &o. REGULATIONS. Class F, Hay, Straw, &a. : Regulation about small quantities amended. PART IV.—LOCAL RATES. Kawakawa Section. Class L, Firewood, &o.: Local rate cancelled. Auckland Section. Slabs, Helensville to Auckland and Newmarket: Local rate adopted ; afterwards cancelled. Soda-crystals and refined tallow, Westfield to Auckland : \ Coke, Auckland and Onehunga to Huntly : I New rates. Native coal, Onehunga to Huntly : ) Crude sulphur, Oxford to Auckland : Rate cancelled. Sugar, fencing-wire, and iron, Auckland and Newmarket to Te Aroha : Special rate put in force. A, B, C, D goods ex ships from ports outside Kaipara Heads, Helensville to Auckland : Local rate now includes wharfage. Local rates cancelled for brown coals and kerosene shale. Timber rate, Lichfield and Putaruru Junction to Auckland, cancelled. Rotorua District Line : Class 0 removed. Napier Section. Rates for round logs to Spit, Napier, and Waipukurau cancelled. Class E goods to Napier and Spit: Rates reduced. Special rate adopted for undamped wool from stations between Dannevirke and Woodville to Spit. Wool rate from Farndon to Napier and Spit reduced. Special rate also established from Napier and Spit to Farndon. Firewood rates from bush-stations to Napier and Spit extended to Awatoto. Whole of local rates afterwards cancelled. Live-stock rates between Wanganui and Napier Sections cancelled. Butter in lOcwt. lots : Regulation modified. Wellington Section. Shunting charge on timber consigned to Booth's Siding cancelled. Tallow, Petone to Wellington : New rate. Rate for firewood from Lett's Siding and Kaitoke cancelled. Export timber rate extended to local timber consigned to Wellington. Butter in lOcwt. lots : Regulation modified. * Class E, Grain, &c. : Rates reduced to Wellington.
