SERVICES PERFORMED BY MR. BLACKETT AS CONSULTING ENGINEER. [In Continuation of D.-9a, 1890.]
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 16th July, 1890. Ordered, " That a return be laid before the House showing the total value of material which Mr. Blaokett, Consulting Engineer, has inspected in England on behalf of the colony since his appointment; the number of letters he has written to the Government since his arrival in London ; the amount paid for clerical assistance to him, both by way of salary for a clerk and otherwise ; and the total amount of salaries, extras, and contingencies which have been paid by the colony since his appointment."—(Mr. Cadman.)
Return showing- (1) The Total Value of Material which Mr. Blackett, Consulting Engineer, has ' inspected in England on behalf of the Colony since his Appointment; (2) the Number of Letters he has written to the Government since his arrival in London; (3) the Amount paid for Clerical Assistance to him, both by way of Salary for a Clerk and otherwise ; and (4) the Total Amount of Salaries, Extras, and Contingencies which have been paid by the Colons since his Appointment.
