EXPENDITURE ON ROADS AND BRIDGES IN EACH COUNTY (RETURN OF).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 19th May, 1887. Ordered, " That there ba laid before this House a return of all the money granted and expended up to the 31st March, 1887, on roads and bridges in each county, to include grants under the Roads and Bridges Construction Act, special votes of Parliament, votes for public-works roads, roads to open up lands before sale, and roads on goldfields, in continuation of Return D.-8, 1885 ; also subsidies paid under the Crown and Native Lands Rating Act, and under the Local Bodies' Finance and Powers Act." —(Mr. McMillan.)
