No. 516, Sess. 11. Petition of Ihakara Kahuao. Petitioner states that he is one of the grantees of the Tatua West Block. It was heard before the Native Land Court in 1869, and at later periods; and also that the boundaries have been altered since 1869. He prays for relief, as he says part now runs through his dwelling at Maroa. Beport and date same as No. 16.

Petitioners, Maoris belonging to Te Wairoa and Turanga, Poverty Bay, ask that the law may stand as it is, and that an equal number of Maoris and Europeans may be enrolled on any jury in Native cases in the Supreme Court.
