NATIVE RESERVES, NELSON AND GREYMOUTH (PAPERS RELATING TO), BY A. MACKAY, WITH STATEMENTS OF RECEIPTS AND EXPENDITURE. [In continuation of G-.-3, Sess. II., 1879.]

Presented to both Houses of the General Assembly by Command of His Excellency.

Mr. Alexander Mackat to the Undee-Secretary, Native Department. Sic, — Native Reserves Office, Nelson, 20th April, 1880. I have the honor to forward herewith, returns of the receipts and expenditure of the Nelson and Greymouth Native Reserve Funds from the Ist July, 1879, to the 31st March, 1880. The total amount collected on account of the Nelson Fund during the aforesaid period, added to the balance in hand on the Ist July, 1879, amounts to £1,239 6s. 3d., and the expenditure for the same time computes a total of £1,227 6s. Bd., leaving a balance of £11 19s. 7d. to the credit of the fund. The aggregate income received on account of the Greymouth Fund during the same; time, together with the balance in hand on the Ist July, 1879, amounts to £3,003 2s. 9d., and the expenditure to £2,564 2s.
