* Conditions.—That the Lessee keep and maintain the ferry over tho Clarence Eiver, and provide a properly qualified ferryman, to be approved of by the Government. That the charges for ferrying shall not be more than 2s. 6d. for a man and horse, and Is. for a foot traveller. That the Lessee shall keep an accommodation house for the use of travellers, to the satisfaction of the Government, but no license for the sale of spirituous liquors will be granted. That the Lessee shall not at any time have more than 300 sheep or 50 head of cattle on the Eeserve, except stock travelling through the reserve, for which a charge shall bo made as follows :—Horses and cattle, Is. per head for each night for the first 20 head, and Cd. per head per night for all above that number; and sheep, 2d. each for the first 50 per night, and Id. each per night for all above that number.
